Thanks for visiting! My name's Edward Lang-Whiston, and I'm an artist, illustrator and writer living and working in North Wales.
My work is all about people and places, stories and fantasies. I think art and creativity are the realest kind of magic we have, and I would love to show you why.
About
My work has ranged from roleplaying game zines, to personalised tarot cards, to large scale drawings exhibiting in a medieval castle. Most of this has been done in pen and ink- I love the feeling of a fountain pen moving over paper. I'm most interested in exploring psychofantastic and psychogeographical themes: I want to draw things and places not as they are, but how you imagine them to be in their wildest interpretation. I'm not just about showing you the way I think about these things, either- I'm committed to sharing, whether thats as a workshop provider or advocate for creativity.
My Portfolio
Workshops
Since 2025 I've been involved with workshop programs for youths and adults. I can provide anything from an hour to a full day, exploring anything from drawing in miniature up to exploring the creative process and imaginative techniques. My workshops aren't focused on a specific technical skill so much as building confidence with simple media and big ideas.
